Erin is one cool cat (see Worth Noting below), and we love that she’s always up for a challenge. Erin turns every experience into a learning experience, taking in as much as she can. We’re excited to see her overhaul of our corporate records and what else she brings to the table.
“Culture, family, boldness, challenging the status quo… MT+Co. aligns with everything that I could want from a workplace and then some. The culture and progressive nature of the firm is what drew me in, and once I arrived, the people and having a platform to be heard and collaborate with like-minded individuals is what has me locked in!”
Erin has been part of the legal world her whole life (baby, she was #bornthisway) and wouldn’t have it any other way. Her niche is the next challenge, whatever it may be, and she’s constantly going after the next big climb and making it her own.
Erin has worked everywhere… Kitchens, operations, delivery services, serving tables, keeping houses, coffee bars, yoga studios. She’s used all this experience to master keeping her cool, remaining calm and staying balanced, no matter what situation she finds herself in. She thrives on getting things done and satisfying others’ needs, and that’s it, that’s all!
Erin grew up surrounded by lawyers and started filing in a law firm when she was 7 years old and spent time assisting with clerical tasks throughout high school and university. Erin began studying Medieval and Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria but she fell in love with the mountains and moved to Whistler to learn to ski.
Most recently, Erin handled complaint files at the Law Society of BC where she worked as both a Professional Conduct Administrative Assistant and Operations Receptionist/”Know It All”. In her words, “it was a well rounding, skin-thickening experience”. Erin completed Continuing Legal Education at Vancouver Community College under Legal Administrative Studies and is currently more than halfway through their Paralegal Diploma Program!
Erin is a hiking/glacier-loving maniac. She loves to teach yoga and is passionate about her practice and sharing it with others. Erin’s big on hiking, camping, skiing, cooking, reading (fantasy), singing, watercolour painting, playing guitar, fishing and now hunting. She’s also a self-proclaimed crazy plant lady. She also loves all things folklore and monsters.
