Barbara is a senior corporate lawyer whose background includes in-house and private practice positions in British Columbia, Ontario, Alberta and Germany and as senior legal counsel with the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC).
Barbara has advised public and private corporations, governments, boards of directors, special committees and individuals on a variety of matters relating to corporate finance, securities law, offerings, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions. She has been involved with corporate governance issues in both the Canadian and US context and regularly participates in board and committee meetings.
Barbara has particular experience in the Canadian, U.S. and U.K. capital markets advising exploration and mining companies. Barbara's clients have included international and domestic exploration and mining companies listed on the TSX, the TSX V, AIM, the NYSE and the AMEX with properties in Canada, the United States, Russia, Australia, Sweden, Greenland, South America, Central America, Asia and Africa. Barbara is a past elected member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Board and the past chair of the Board's securities committee.
